EcoGreen Solutions Ltd is a Rwandan-based company, privately owned by two young women.The company manufactures , distributes and do research for  improved cook stoves, from Tier 3, (38%) tier 4 (52.2%), and routing to Tier 5 all tested by the Rwanda Standard Board. Currently, Ecogreen has expanded its biomass pellets production line which produces  2 tons of pellet per Hour and 6,000 improved cookstove from 1,000  per month. the 2 workshops are located in RWANDA , GASABO. The  target market, are urban, sub urban, rural and humanitarian settings. while our payment modes accepted are: pay as you go, payment in instalments.Ecogreen empowers young people, young graduates as well as refugees who currently are part of the team whereby 60% of the entire staff is woman. So far, our staff stands at 60, 6 of them  are permanent and the rest are casuals. However, with the expansion our staff has significantly increased  and 60% of the team being women and young graduates. We strive to produce sustainable clean cooking solutions not only in RWANDA but to the rest of the world, our scale up plan. Noting that 40% and 80% respectively world wide Rwanda ‘s households cook inefficiently -traditional cooking modes that harm our lives, with a high rate of co2 emission .
