Who We Are
EcoGreen Solutions Ltd is a Rwandan-owned clean-energy company transforming the way households and communities cook.
Established in 2020, we design, manufacture and distribute high-efficiency improved cookstoves, biomass pellets and sustainable clean-cooking solutions that make everyday cooking cleaner, healthier, more affordable and better for the environment.
Born and built in Rwanda, EcoGreen combines local manufacturing, innovation and climate action to create practical energy solutions designed for real households—from rural communities to urban families, institutions and humanitarian settings.
From Waste to Energy. From Traditional Cooking to Clean Cooking.
We believe clean energy should not be a luxury.
That is why we develop technologies that use locally available resources and convert agricultural and wood residues—including sawdust, rice husks and other biomass waste—into valuable clean cooking fuel.
Our approach creates a circular energy system where waste becomes fuel, local manufacturing creates jobs, and cleaner cooking creates healthier homes.

Women Building Rwanda’s Clean-Energy Future
EcoGreen was founded and is owned by two young Rwandan women, Anitha Umutoniwase and Kibukayire Helene.
Their vision is simple
Clean cooking should be accessible to every household, while creating opportunities for Rwandan people and protecting the environment for generations to come.
Today, that vision is growing into a scalable clean-energy business serving communities across Rwanda and contributing to Africa’s transition toward sustainable energy.
